Visiting the city of Izamal, Yucatan.

My family trip to the city of Izamal, Yucatán, was in December 2015. As every year, while in our possibilities we go to the Sanctuary of the friars to make a promise to the Virgen de la Concepcion, our visit is to thank blessings and health granted during the year, this is a tradition of years by inheritance and devotion of my grandparents, who taught me the tradition from very small and today I want to teach my children.

The route of the trip is first of all go to church to worship and thank our Blessed Lady of Conception for the year give us his blessing, after touring the market and breakfast regional rich snacks of the city, at the end we went to Kinich kak moo pyramid (fire guacamaya solar face), visiting the pyramid is practically mandatory, then we make a tour through the main streets of the city buggy car.

And to end with a visit to the colonial city of Izamal (city of three cultures) bought some souvenirs for family, headed to the bus terminal to return to the city of Merida, Yucatan satisfied and happy having served one year but with the promise made to our immaculate mother of Concepcion. Hoping that in December 2016 we have the joy and privilege of repeat visits with family.
